Cookies Policy
The short version: we use a few cookies to keep the site working and to count visitors anonymously. No ad trackers, ever.
This page explains what cookies are, which ones Layerseven TV drops on layerseveniptv.cam, and what you can do about them. If you're after the broader picture on personal data, our Privacy Policy covers that side.
We've kept the list short on purpose. There are no advertising trackers on this site — not from us, not from third-party ad networks. The cookies you'll see here exist to make Layerseven TV work and to give us a basic, anonymous count of how busy the site is.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device — your laptop, phone, tablet, the lot. They let the site remember little bits of information between visits, so you don't have to redo the same setup every time you land on a page.
Some cookies expire the moment you close the tab ("session" cookies). Others stick around for a set period, or until you clear them yourself ("persistent" cookies). Both are used here, and we explain which is which below.
2. The Cookies We Actually Use
We split our cookies into three plain groups: necessary, preference, and analytics. That's it. We don't run a fourth category for advertising — you won't see Layerseven TV chasing you around the internet with retargeting pixels.
Necessary Cookies
These keep the site upright. Without them the free-trial form would lose your details halfway through, the pricing toggle wouldn't remember which plan you picked, and we couldn't protect form submissions from bots. You can't opt out of these — if you block them, parts of Layerseven TV simply won't load.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
session_id |
Keeps your trial form, cart, and login state working across pages | Session (cleared on browser close) |
csrf_token |
Security token that blocks cross-site form abuse | Session |
cookie_consent |
Stores your consent choice so we don't show the banner again | 1 year (localStorage) |
Preference Cookies
These remember the small choices you make so the site feels less like a stranger on the second visit — your language, your local currency, how many devices you've toggled on the pricing page. Drop them and nothing breaks; you'll just be re-picking the same settings every time you come back.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
lang_pref |
Remembers your chosen language (English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Portuguese) | 6 months |
geo_currency |
Caches your country so we show the right local price the next time you visit | 30 days |
device_count |
Saves your 1/2/3-device toggle on the pricing page | 30 days |
Analytics Cookies (Only With Your Consent)
We run anonymous traffic analytics so we can tell which pages people actually read and where they bounce. The numbers are aggregated — there's no way for us to pick you personally out of the data. These cookies only fire after you accept the consent banner.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics — gives each visitor an anonymous ID | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics — tracks the current session | 2 years |
If you decline analytics on the banner, these cookies never get set — same as if you'd never visited at all.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Layerseven TV doesn't load third-party advertising cookies. We don't run Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, ad-network retargeting tags, or any of the usual marketing trackers.
That said, if you click out to a payment partner (Stripe or PayPal at checkout), those providers will set their own cookies on their own domains. We don't control how that works — read their cookie policies if you want the detail. The same applies if you click a WhatsApp button: WhatsApp/Meta manages what happens once you leave our site.
4. The Consent Banner
If you're visiting from the EU, the UK, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent banner the first time you land on Layerseven TV. Nothing in the analytics group fires until you tap "Accept" — that's how GDPR and the UK GDPR require us to handle it.
For visitors from outside those regions, the necessary and preference cookies are set straight away (they're what makes the site work) and analytics defaults to off unless local law says we can opt you in. You can always reset your choice using the button below.
Reset Your Consent
Tap this to clear your saved cookie choice. The banner will pop up again on your next page load and you can pick fresh.
5. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You don't need our banner to take control — every browser lets you block or delete cookies directly. Here's where to look:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Heads up: if you block all cookies across the board, the free-trial form and login state won't work properly on any site, ours included.
Opt Out of Google Analytics Everywhere
Want analytics off across the entire web in one go? Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on and you're done — it blocks the tag on every site, not just ours.
6. Changes to This Policy
If we change how we use cookies — adding a new analytics tool, switching providers, anything — we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Check back now and then so you're not caught out.
7. Contact
Got a question about cookies or anything else on this page? Send us a note via the contact page and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.
