Privacy Policy
Here's exactly what Layerseven TV does — and doesn't do — with your personal information.
This is the Layerseven TV privacy policy. We're the team behind the IPTV service at layerseveniptv.cam, and this page is our plain-English summary of what data we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. No dark patterns, no resale of your details to ad networks, no fine print written to confuse you.
If something here isn't clear, you can write to us any time. There's a contact link at the bottom and on every page of the site.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly
- Email address — needed to create your account and send your login details.
- Payment information — handled by our payment partners (Stripe, PayPal, or crypto processors). We never see or store your full card number.
- Name — optional, only requested if you contact support.
- Support messages — anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, or the contact form.
Information collected automatically
- IP address — used for fraud prevention and PPP-adjusted pricing. Not kept on permanent record.
- Browser and device type — gathered through cookies so the site loads correctly on your device.
- Pages viewed and session duration — collected through anonymous analytics (see Cookies below).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To set up and run your IPTV subscription account.
- To deliver your login credentials, renewal reminders, and service notices.
- To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- To answer your support questions through email or WhatsApp.
- To improve page load speed, fix bugs, and refine our content.
- To meet legal obligations such as tax recordkeeping.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not run automated profiling that affects your legal rights. We do not share your subscription history with advertisers.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you're in the European Union or the UK, our lawful bases for processing personal data are:
- Contract performance — we need your email to deliver the service you paid for.
- Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, site security, and service improvements.
- Consent — for analytics cookies, which you can accept or decline through the cookie banner.
- Legal obligation — where the law requires us to keep certain records.
4. Cookies
We use three categories of cookies on this site, and that's it:
- Necessary cookies — handle authentication and session continuity. The site can't function without them. No consent needed under GDPR's strictly-necessary exemption.
- Analytics cookies — fully anonymised. They tell us which pages get traffic and where users drop off, but never identify you personally. Only set after you accept the cookie banner.
- No third-party advertising or tracking cookies — we don't run retargeting pixels, ad-network beacons, or cross-site trackers without your explicit consent. If we ever change that, this policy gets updated first and consent gets re-requested.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so won't break the site, but it may sign you out of your account.
5. Third Parties We Share Data With
We share information only with the small set of partners that make the service work:
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, crypto gateways) — to complete your transaction securely.
- Hosting and CDN providers — to serve the site reliably from data centres near you.
- Anonymous analytics — aggregated usage data only, subject to your cookie consent.
- Law enforcement — only when required by a valid legal request.
We do not transfer your email, payment data, or viewing activity to data brokers, ad networks, or social platforms.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU and UK Residents)
If you live in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you have these rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification — ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to restrict processing — ask us to pause certain uses of your data.
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable file.
- Right to object — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — revoke analytics consent at any time through the cookie banner or by contacting us.
- Right to lodge a complaint — file a complaint with your national data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, reach us through the contact page. We respond within 30 days, usually faster.
7. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and CPRA:
- Right to know — what personal information we collect, the sources, and the purposes.
- Right to delete — request deletion of your personal information.
- Right to correct — fix inaccurate personal information we hold.
- Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, but you can confirm this status in writing.
- Right to non-discrimination — using these rights won't trigger price changes or service downgrades.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we don't collect sensitive data categories.
To submit a CCPA request, message us through the contact page.
8. International Data Transfers
Layerseven TV is a global IPTV service, so data may be processed in countries outside your home country, including the United States and the European Union. When transferring personal data out of the EU/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved mechanisms to keep your information protected to GDPR standards.
9. Data Retention
We hold your email address for the length of your subscription plus 90 days, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years). Support ticket history is kept for 24 months for quality and dispute resolution.
10. Children
Layerseven TV is built for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you're a parent and believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account along with all related data.
11. Security
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Account passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Access to subscriber records is limited to authorised support staff and audited.
12. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top changes. For material changes — anything that affects what we collect or how we use it — we'll email active subscribers before the new terms apply.
13. Contact
Got a privacy question, or want to use one of your rights above? Drop us a line through the contact page or message us on WhatsApp. We aim to reply inside 48 hours, and we'll never make you jump through hoops to get an answer.
